Daughter of the Honorable Pere Mestres i Albet (1901-1975) and Dolors Planas Masdeu (ꝉ1975).

Established in Peru, she was born in Vilanova i la Geltrú, Barcelona, ​​and has traveled throughout Europe and America, temporarily residing in Cuba, Mexico, Argentina and the United States.
She studied Chemistry in Argentina and Peru, Literature and Art with the watercolorist Teodoro Núñez Ureta .
She has exhibited in Peru, Spain, France, Venezuela, El Salvador, Chile, Canada, Argentina and the United States. Her works are in different private collections, museums and public institutions around the world.
She has won the following awards:
Prize of the Society of Beautiful Arts of Peru in Watercolor in 1960.
1989 Special Peace Prize in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Prize of the Jockey Club of Peru.
She directed the Painting Workshop of the Borkas Gallery, La Hispania. And he currently teaches painting classes in the Talleres Group, Taller Reducto, in private studios, as well as in her Estudio Mestres Planas.
